Meet Dr. Kathryn Brouillette, Dr. Andreas Thyssen, and Dr. Allison Buttarazzi. We are seasoned professionals in internal medicine, pediatrics, and lifestyle medicine. After many years of caring for Mainers experiencing the downstream effects of chronic disease, we are homing in on the headwaters of illness. We offer full spectrum primary care, age 0-110+. Our unique practice harnesses the power of habit and human connection to introduce you to what kind of wellness is possible for you.

Meet Your Doctors
Dr. Kathryn Brouillette
Dr. Brouillette is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Dr. Brouillette grew up in Southern Maine and trained at McGill University in Montreal. She has been practicing internal medicine and pediatrics in Southern Maine since 2011.
Dr. Andreas Thyssen
Dr. Andreas Thyssen is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Lifestyle Medicine. He founded Maine Street Medical to offer thoughtful, relationship-based care that helps patients prevent and reverse chronic conditions. Outside of medicine, he’s a coach, triathlete, father of four, and passionate believer in the power of time, trust, and listening in healthcare.
Dr. Allison Buttarazzi
Dr. Allison Buttarazzi is board certified in Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine and is a certified Health and Wellbeing Coach. A native of Topsham, she trained at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and returned to Maine to serve the community that raised her. Dr. Buttarazzi is passionate about helping patients improve their health through personalized, sustainable lifestyle changes and whole-person care.

Marcia Ladner, MA
Marcia is a registered medical assistant, certified health and wellness coach, and phlebotomist with over a decade of experience in healthcare. A lifelong Mainer, she brings a warm, supportive presence to the Maine Street Medical team and is passionate about helping patients feel seen, heard, and empowered in their care.
